Her interest in materials has led her to visit paper making areas in Japan and abroad to continue her research.
Through this work, she conveys the possibilities and appeal of Washi by cutting out handmade Washi to create paper cutouts of the shape of paper-mulberry leaves, the plant used to make Washi.

素材への関心から国内外の紙産地を訪ねリサーチを続けている。
その過程で出会った和紙原料植物の楮の葉の形を、手漉き和紙を切り抜いて切り絵にすることで、和紙の可能性と魅力を作品を通して発信する。
